May 1, 2009 - ORDER DEADLINE FOR FLOWER DAY!! 

May 5, 2009 - Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. hosted by Lions Doc Joe and Robin, 337 Oakwood Circle, Oak Run.   All Board Members should plan on attending.  If you are unable to attend please let Lion Linda or Lion President Bob know. 

May 8 - Flower Day - If you have flowers to pick up please be sure to do that between 2:00 and 6:30 p.m at 889 Monroe Street, Galesburg.  Lion Kim does not want to babysit flowers all weekend.  Order sheets have been mailed to everyone and they are available at the noon meetings.

Congratulations to Lion Diane Kroll who was recently elected Second Vice District Governor for District 1-H.  Congratulations also to Lion Linda who received the 100% Secretary’s award, and Lion Carol Hagan who received the William K. Richardson Distinguished Service Award.
